New Leak Detection Dye Safe for All Coolants!

TP-3940 Dye-Lite® Rite-Blend™
blended fluorescent leak detection dye
Tracer Products has made life easier for technicians who service cars and trucks by introducing its new TP-3940 Dye-Lite® Rite-Blend™ blended fluorescent leak detection dye, which can be used for both extended-life and conventional coolants.
Approved by General Motors, this specially formulated dye will not affect the color of extended-life coolants, helping to avoid improper mixing and possible damage to the cooling system. Rite-Blend™ can also be used with any fluorescent leak detection lamp.
Rite-Blend™ dye reveals even the smallest leaks in cooling systems. Just add a small amount to a system and allow it to circulate. Wherever the coolant leaks out, so does the dye, which remains at the site of each and every leak. When the system is scanned with a Tracerline® inspection lamp, the dye glows a bright green to show the exact location of the leak.

Go Green and Get More Power with the New DYMAX
BlueWave® LED Prime UVA Spot-Curing System

The BlueWave® LED Prime UVA high-intensity spot-curing system offers many advantages over conventional spot-curing systems including no consumable bulbs to change, no warm-up, cool cures, and constant intensity for thousands of hours.
The BlueWave LED Prime UVA generates curing energy using high-intensity LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) and produces nearly double the intensity of any LED spot-curing lamp on the market today. This system delivers maximum curing energy through a 5 mm diameter lightguide, with an output up to 15 W/cm2. While providing more power, the design also eliminates the safety concerns from the high heat generated by units with the LED array at the end of the wand. In addition, the relatively narrow frequency band produced by LEDs generates cooler curing temperatures at the substrate level. The unit is CE certified, RoHS compliant, offers user-friendly operation, and boasts a useful LED life of over 50,000 hours. All of these features make the BlueWave LED Prime UVA the ideal curing system for manufacturers looking to complement their “green” initiatives.
The BlueWave LED Prime UVA also includes an intensity adjustment feature which allows users to adjust and control intensity output from 0% to 100% to assist with process validation and control. Intensity level measurement is easily accomplished with a radiometer. The DYMAX ACCU-CAL™ 50-LED radiometer is used to take readings
through the lightguide in process development and actual production settings, providing the most accurate and consistent method of light-intensity measurement. DYMAX offers single and multi-legged lightguides that are compatible with the BlueWave LED Prime UVA. This spot-curing system is excellent for spot curing of various coatings as well as adhesive bonding of polycarbonate, PVC, PET, metal, glass, and many other substrates.

Three new mid-sized models added to
Bobcat M-Series compact excavator line
The new E42, E45 and E50 models join the Bobcat® M-Series compact excavator line in the 4-to-5-ton weight class. All three feature improved performance and operator comfort.
The E42 is a Conventional Tail Swing unit with an operating weight of 9,246 pounds. The E45 features Zero Tail Swing and weighs 10,077 pounds, while the E50 is a Minimal Tail Swing model weighing 10,677 pounds. The E42 and E45 come with a 41.8 horsepower liquid-cooled diesel engine while the E50 is equipped with a 48.8 horsepower engine.
Redesigned hydraulics with a load-sensing pump and closed center-valve system provide improved, refined control of machine travel and work-group operation. The new hydraulics combined with re-engineered boom geometry also result in increased bucket breakout forces. Cushioned work-group cylinders offer smooth end-of-stroke for precise control.
The E42, E45 and E50 also include an auto-idle feature which, if activated by the operator, automatically returns the engine to idle if excavator functions are not used for a period of four seconds, saving fuel and reducing jobsite noise. The engine automatically returns to the preset throttle position as soon as the operator starts working again. For precise engine speed adjustments, a new easy-to-use rotary knob has been added to the controls.
Within the operator’s area, the boom swing control has been moved from the floor and placed on a thumb switch on the left joystick, making it easier to operate and opening up space on the floor for the operator’s feet. New larger travel pedals fold up to provide more floor space while flush-mounted floor mats make cleanup easier. A keyless start system that discourages theft and vandalism is available as an option.
A TOPS/ROPS canopy with high-back suspension seat, retractable seat belt, cup holder, adjustable armrests and lockable toolbox is standard on the E42, E45 and E50 models while a quiet, comfortable enclosed “radio ready” cab with heat and air conditioning is available as an option. The cab includes an improved air conditioning system with a 20 percent increase in air flow and additional air ducts. An optional deluxe cloth seat is also available.
Like all Bobcat M-Series compact excavators, the E42, E45 and E50 feature an X-frame undercarriage that provides improved ground clearance and sheds debris for reduced cleanup time. Drive motors covers are inset within the motor wrap-arounds to protect them from potential damage.
Integrated slew brakes hold loads still and steady on slopes for more accurate placement. The need for the operator to manually engage the slew brakes during transport is eliminated, making it easier to load and position the machine.
In addition, Bobcat’s exclusive in-track swing frame keeps the swing castings and cylinders within the width of the tracks when digging in an offset position, helping the operator dig flush against an obstacle. When other compact excavators work in an offset dig position, their components extend outside the tracks and reduce their ability to dig in tight areas.
All of the new models are available with a long arm option that maximizes dig depth, reach and dump height clearance. Other popular options include pad-ready steel tracks, a hydraulic angle blade, second auxiliary hydraulics, hydraulic clamp and Hydraulic X-Change attachment mounting systems for quickly switching between the 16 attachments approved for use on the machines.
